Code Quarry
Assessment data use / October 26, 2026

How we use your assessment answers.

Your answers are sent to Code Quarry to select useful follow-up questions and prepare your finding. We keep a temporary report draft in server memory for up to 30 minutes so the finding and saved report match. Closing or refreshing this page before saving loses your progress. We record basic assessment events such as step completion, elapsed time and capture variant, without names, emails or workflow text.

When you save a report, Code Quarry stores your answer snapshot, generated report, report version and source attribution. If you provide contact details, we also store your name, email, company and optional website in Forge for report delivery and human follow-up about your assessment. Marketing permission is separate, optional and unchecked by default.

Do not enter credentials, confidential customer information, patient information, financial documents or proprietary specifications. Keep your workflow description general.

Saved reports and answer snapshots expire after 30 days. Private links use a secret in the address fragment. Anyone with the complete link can view the report; they can also disable it. Keep the link and PDF private. Disabling the link stops access but does not delete a downloaded PDF or an existing company contact record.

Assessment event records are retained for up to 90 days. Rate controls use a daily keyed hash of the network address rather than storing it in the assessment tables, and expire after short abuse-prevention windows. Hosting providers may process ordinary network logs under their own retention policies.

Contact and company records linked in Forge remain for legitimate assessment follow-up under the company’s existing privacy practices. To request removal of your assessment and associated contact data, or withdraw marketing consent, email [email protected]. We do not add you to a marketing list just because you request the report.

OpenAI processes the business description, work example, tool names and other assessment answers you provide to help prepare questions and a proposed AI employee recommendation. We do not send the contact name, email or company entered in the delivery form to the model. We request that API responses are not stored as application responses by OpenAI; provider security and abuse-monitoring practices still apply. Current workload and labor-cost calculations use your numeric answers. Code Quarry checks the actual work, system access and approvals during a live workflow analysis.
